Tyler Allgeier Continues to Lead Cardinals RB Snaps Amid Ongoing Competition

What happened

During Monday's practice, with some starters rested, Tyler Allgeier continued to see the first carries ahead of first-round pick Jeremiyah Love in the Cardinals' backfield work. The team has actively reshaped the position group this offseason by retaining James Conner, signing Allgeier and drafting Love high, creating a crowded room where early camp reps are being closely watched.

Fantasy impact

Allgeier's consistent first-team looks strengthen his case as a viable committee option or handcuff behind Conner. Love remains a high-upside prospect but is still working through the learning curve. Fantasy managers should treat the Cardinals backfield as a committee for now and prioritize Allgeier in deeper leagues or as a speculative late-round pick until clearer hierarchy emerges in the preseason.
